It’s the end of the world as we know it… and I feel fine.
The past eight years have allowed me to develop a healthy degree of cynicism. I no longer think that all of our countrymen (and countryladies) have the best interest of every American at heart. It has become painfully obvious that conservatives have no desire to compromise.
I have considered what an Obama presidency without a fillibuster proof Senate would be. The GOP would simply obstruct every single thing Obama, Pelosi, and Reid would try to do.
